April 8th, 2010: Maxing and Relaxing

Too often I fail to share what goes down between all the skiing up, the skiing down, and then more skiing up and skiing down. The Wednesday/Thursday Club is an exceptional example of the refined side of backcountry skiing. We found that the best way to start the day was breakfast meats and pancakes loaded with bananas, walnuts, chocolate chips, and syrup.

It's best to take a break between the morning and afternoon sessions to ice the legs. We recommend utilizing a rooftop snow lounge for optimal views while recuperating.

Kevin is a particular fan  throwing snow in the air and hitting it with a ski pole. He isn't just a fan though, he's also a highly skilled practitioner. This is almost as much fun as throwing snowballs at trees.
