Day 9 was a relatively short day and brought us to the wonderfully charming Pear Lake Ski Hut, Sequoia National Park's equivalent to Yosemite's Ostrander Ski Hut. We were all pretty excited about having a roof over our heads, a floor to stand on, and most importantly... other people! After 8 days without seeing a single other person, it was quite fun to see some new faces. Especially since these new faces brought many tasty treats such as cheese, beer, bacon, and more.
Yu happily shared our route from the previous days and we shared many stories before eating a hearty dinner and calling it an early night.
