Steve and Yu took Funk to the top of the Skier's Alta ridgeline to scope Black Kaweah, the tallest of the distant peaks.
While we were all hanging atop Skier's Alta, we decided to pose for a cheesy family photo - sans the cheesy smiles. That's what we like to call the ice grill back in the Midwest.
Here we see the rarely performed tele-360 over a glide crack. Funk executed it with great technical saavy and style. (In case you were wondering, this glide crack was formed due to the abundance of smooth rock under the snowpack. The snow doesn't bond to the rock and every spring starts to slide right down the mountain, creating an ever-growing crack as it goes.)
